Badrinath Dham Yatra

Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,133 meters, this temple is a key part of the Char Dham Yatra. The temple, believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya, enshrines a black stone idol of Lord Badri Narayan. Devotees visit to seek blessings and experience the divine aura of the holy Alaknanda River flowing beside the temple.

Badrinath is surrounded by breathtaking mountains, with the Alaknanda River flowing beside it. Pilgrims also visit Tapt Kund (hot water springs) and Mana Village, India’s last village near Tibet. Since reaching Badrinath by road can be tiring, many devotees prefer the Char Dham Yatra by helicopter for a smooth and quick visit.
